Accidental death is in no way illegal in Australia, but euthanasia is. This is assisted death for those wishing to die.
For a brief period of time in 1995, in the Northern Territory it was legal, but that was overturned in 1996. This has always been a hotly debated topic.
Suicide is also illegal in Australia, though I’m not sure if you could be fined after doing it.
