Whitehaven Beach is a highly protected, world heritage listed beach in The Whitsundays National Park. It is illegal to remove anything from the beach or surrounding areas. This includes sand, coral, rocks, sticks and anything else.
It is also illegal to leave any rubbish in the area and fines do apply.
